Zara stands out as a global superstar of the future
There’s a new kid on the block who’s causing a storm in the pop world. She’s Swedish and her name is Zara Larsson.
She recently appeared at the Cliffs Pavilion, Southend as part of her first UK tour following the release of her debut album, So Good.
It’s easy to understand her meteoric rise. Her music appeals to a young crowd who can identify with her songs.
Her dance choreography brings real power to her set and she commands the stage with an energy only a 19-year-old can dream of.
During her set, Zara performed her chart-topping hits such as Never Forget You and Girls Like, which had the crowd singing and dancing along.
But what makes Zara stand out as a global superstar of the future is her voice which, like the rest of her performance, commands a musical authority that leaves you tingling and wanting more.
This combination of musical talent, dance moves and stage presence certainly puts her on course to be the next Katy Perry. There’s certainly room for another artist of that calibre!
Ending her set with Symphony – on which she had previously collaborated with Clean Bandit – it was obvious that this young lady is going to around for a long time to come.
