NEW Year, new tastes – the sunshine flavours from Malta have arrived at The Mercury, Romford.
Nestled in the heart of the Centre on Level Two, opposite Asda, Joe’s Place opened on Friday 14th December bringing a new taste experience to Romford for the New Year.
Joe’s Place was officially opened by the Mayor of Havering, Councillor, Dilip Patel with members of Romford Job Centre, Steve Dixon from The Sycamore Trust and Romford MP Andrew Rosindell.
Owner, Joe Sultana, who is also the founder of the local Romford Film Festival, has put his heart and soul into his new restaurant to make sure that every customer who visits is left feeling satisfied whether they have sampled some traditional Maltese dishes – including Sea
Bass, Rabbit, Minestra – or an all-day Full English Breakfast, Roast Dinner or a Fresh Cream Tea.
Joe plans a lot of themed nights – including a wine tasting event with four courses and wine with live music.
The Cream Tea is also very traditional and includes two fruit or plain scones, Cornish clotted cream, jams and refillable tea or coffee for just £3.50.
