Brentwood Town 3, Cheshunt 1

TOWN were the big winners in the battle at the bottom of the Ryman One North after this comeback success.

After Cheshunt had taken an early lead in the first half, two second half goals by Dan Subuola turned this match in Brentwood’s favour and earned them only their second league win of the season.

Josh Cooper put the Ambers ahead after seven minutes with a fierce drive off the underside of the bar and the visitors were well worth their half time lead.

With virtually his first touch, substitute Jack Gardner set up the equaliser for Subuola in the 58th minute and Subuola scored again seven minutes later, a fine shot inside the post after a one-two with Sipho Mtyanda.

James Love secured the points, tapping in after Luke Wilson won a header at the far post from a Subuola corner.
