A Southend-on-Sea based firm has received a business boost from Retail Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.
Last week, Piperoni proprietor Simon Taylor tweeted Theo about the quirky mobile pizza business he runs from his converted Land Rover during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers.
The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 2500 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.
Business and retail entrepreneur and self-confessed Shopkeeper, Theo re- tweeted Simon’s message to his almost 500,000 followers and as a result, www.piperoni.co.uk had more followers and extra enquiries for their event catering services.
They are also profiled on his website, www.theopaphitissbs.com that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.
Simon Taylor said: “We’ve only been in business for one year and while its been a brilliant year, we are still trying to find that all important weekly food market pitch.
“It will be great to have support from Theo because it has been tough trying to raise our profile on our own. I am looking out for other marketing ideas to.
“Theo has recognised our hard work and has already spread the word about what we do to his followers.”
