Transport company ATL Haulage Contractors Ltd, based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex, has come to the aid of children’s charity Over The Wall by agreeing to deliver all the equipment and resources required to run its camps around the UK.
Over The Wall is a provider of free residential camps for children with serious illness that will host 15 camps throughout 2019, catering for more than 1,000 children.
After discovering the appeal for help on social media, ATL Haulage decided to assist Over The Wall by agreeing to transport the equipment completely free of charge, saving the charity costs of around £25,000. They will also brand some of its vehicles with Over The Wall logos, and bring the trucks to camps for the children to explore.
ATL Haulage is working alongside ocean shipping company Yang Ming (UK) Ltd, which has agreed to provide the free use of the containers that will be used to transport the items for camp, including arts and crafts equipment, toys, games, medical supplies, medical equipment, musical instruments and more.
Ash Karia, Operations Director of ATL Haulage, said, “We are proud to team up with Over The Wall, especially on our ten-year anniversary.”
ATL Haulage, which launched in 2009, provides logistics services from its head office in DP World London Gateway, Essex.
