A new FLYONE route to Chisinau from London Southend Airport is already proving a huge success, with the first departures to the Moldovan capital completely sold out.

The new route to one of the fastest growing tourism destinations in the world got underway on Friday 19 July 2019 at 100% capacity. 144 people jetted out on the first flight, after complimentary sampling a range of world-famous Moldovan wines in the Departures Lounge to cheer them on their way.

Moldova is globally renowned for its wine – in fact the country is actually one of the largest wine producing nations on earth. A dozen superb vineyards are within a 90-minute drive of Chi?in?u, the wine-and-food loving capital city whose origins date back six centuries. Chi?in?u is a city of parks, of street festivals, and of sidewalk cafes where you can enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. The super-central location puts the entire country within a day trip. Throw in a hip and happening nightlife, and Chisinau ticks off all the boxes for an ideal weekend break.

The service on an Airbus A319 aircraft will operate twice weekly (on Tuesdays and Fridays).

Tickets can be booked now at www.flyone.md with prices starting from €69 one-way.
