MSC Cruises
In 2017, MSC Cruises launches an optional
personal wellness programme, which includes
a partnership with TechnoGym. During your
cruise, you’ll receive a consultation with a
personal trainer, access to fitness classes such
as barre, hula hooping, yoga, pilates and
cycling, plus special shore excursions like
jogging in Olympia and hiking in Bergen. In
addition, you’ll have access to TechnoGym’s
app, and be able to dine from a special
healthy menu. The wellness experience will
roll out across the fleet throughout 2017, and
will also be available on the line’s newest ship,
MSC Seaside, which debuts in November
If you’re on a serious weight loss
endeavour, MSC Cruises will also offer the
first ever Weight Watchers cruise. Taking
place on MSC Divina in the Caribbean in May
2017, passengers can enjoy lectures, classes,
cooking demonstrations and social events led
by Weight Watchers experts as well as
specially developed meals.

If you’re looking to escape the stresses of
modern life, Seabourn is offering a mindfulliving
programme from January 2017.
Designed to complement the existing spa
offerings, the initiative
integrates spiritual and
physical wellbeing, and has
been created in
conjunction with
integrative medicine
specialist Dr Andrew Weil,
and will be led by a yoga and
meditation practitioner.
During the cruise, guests can
participate in meditation, and yoga sessions
and attend wellbeing seminars. If you suffer
with a specific ailment, such as back or joint
pain, or headaches, you’ll also find classes that
focus on some of these. The mindful-living
programme will be rolled out across the
Seabourn fleet in 2017.

Cruise & Maritime Voyages

Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ ships offer the
opportunity to exercise and pamper yourself.
For example, onboard Tilbury-based
Magellan, the Jade Wellness Centre is ideal if
you’re looking to splash out on treatments,
which include aromatherapy, caviar and antijetlag
facials as well as numerous massages,
such as lymphatic drainage, and Ayurvedic
head massages.
If you’re keen to work up a sweat, the gym
has a variety of ‘Technogym’ equipment
including running machines, a Nordic
exerciser and exercise bikes.
The line’s newest ship Columbus, which
launches in June 2017, will also be Tilburybased
and feature a fully equipped gym, two
heated pools, and the Jade Wellness Centre

Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity Cruises’ offers cruises with an
emphasis on wellbeing. These focus on mind,
body and spirit, and include a specialist yogaprogramme,
which includes seven different
types, such as “Breathing”, “Buff Buddha” and
“Meditation”. Passengers can also enjoy other
fitness classes such as Pilates, aerobics and
indoor cycling, as well as personal training
focusing on blood pressure, pregnancy, bone
health and more.

Silversea Cruises
Silversea Cruises provide a variety of exotic
wellness-themed expedition cruises, designed
