IF you’re planning your wedding and looking for ideas for your wedding dress, head to ‘Lucy Can’t Dance’ in Chelmsford on the evening of Saturday May 6.

The bridal wear shop which specialises in quirky wedding dresses for non-traditional brides will be showcasing all of its new wedding dress designs.

The event which commences at 7pm will consist of live music, a catwalk show and mingling with brides will be local suppliers and wedding enthusiasts. The show will take place at a brand new venue called ‘The Transition’ which is conveniently located opposite Chelmsford train station.

Lucy, a dressmaker from Chelmsford, started her own dressmaking business Lucy Can’t Dance in 2015 with the help and support from the Princes Trust. Since then she has been experimenting and creating stunning new wedding dress designs. Her dresses have been featured in Vogue magazine and many huge online wedding blogs. All of Lucy’s dresses are handmade in her studio. Colours and details can be altered to suit your style and vision. The new collection has a vintage 1920s feel to them and her love of lace gives the dresses a ‘fresh bohemian vibe.’

The fashion show is free entry and the first 30 people through the door will receive a goody bag full of treats. There is also a 20% discount for brides who buy a dress on the night .
