A MEMBER of the notorious ‘Inter City Firm’ has been sentenced to a 12 month community order with 120 hours’ unpaid work after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
43-year-old Shaun Sheridan plotted violence between West Ham and Millwall fans on 7 January 2012 at a Dagenham and Redbridge v Millwall match.
However, the plan was foiled when officers recorded his group gathering at Eastbrook Pub.
Sheridan was sentenced on Friday, 16 August at the Old Bailey after pleading guilty last month.
Originally Sheridan stood trial along with Grays Athletic boss Andy Swallow, 53, Shane Flexon, 26, and Aidan Andrews, 41.
The others were cleared of conspiracy to commit violent disorder but Sheridan and Flexon received football banning orders with Flexon banned for five years. Sheridan has been banned from going within a mile of any match featuring West Ham and Millwall for seven years.
