Police are appealing for information after a woman was threatened with a knife at a park in Brentwood.
A woman reported that she parked at Thorndon Country Park at around 11.30am on Wednesday, April 10. She then got out of her vehicle and started walking her dog when she was approached by a man armed with a knife.
The man demanded that she hand over money, then punched her to the face before running off.
He has been described as being black, around 5ft 10 to 5ft 11ins tall, of an average build and in his mid to late 20s.

The death of a man in Brentwood has been determined to be non-suspicious.
Police were contacted at 8.55am on Monday 15 April, after the 43-year-old man was found unwell in High Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was treated as suspicious as he had a facial injury.
A post mortem examination was carried out on Tuesday 16 April, and proved inconclusive.
Further tests will be carried out, however there was found to be no third party involvement in his death. A 47-year-old man of no fixed address who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and a good samaritan who tried to help him were assaulted in Billericay.
The first incident happened when the victim, a 32-year-old man, was stood at the taxi rank on Western Road, at 1.15am on Saturday March 23. The suspect ran up to him and struck him in the face, fracturing his jaw and causing swelling and bruising to his eye. Another man, who had witnessed the attack, gave chase. The suspect ran in the direction of the cross road between Western Road, Norsey Road and High Street before heading in the direction of the train station. This man, 47, was then assaulted by the suspect and knocked unconscious. He later awoke having suffered a fractured jaw, lost two front teeth and an eye injury. The suspect is described as a white man, wearing dark clothing and short dark hair. Witnesses or anyone with information contact police at Basildon on 101.
