The fourth week of Love Island has just finished and it is undoubtedly the most shocking and dramatic one yet.
Casa Amor shook up the villa, maybe even the most it has done to date.
With the splits between Michael and Amber and Curtis and Amy, the strongest couple’s heads have been turned. What hope is there for the rest of us?
With the recent news of Amy’s decision to leave the villa, are these young people being put under too much pressure to break each others hearts just for the sake of entertainment?
Amy has admitted she has never had a boyfriend and never been in love? But she has had to live out her first love on a TV show and in front of the cameras for all to see.
I personally really hope that now she has left the villa the show will continue to emotionally support her and make sure she copes with all the social media trolls and media publicity.
I still question whether this should be entertainment at all but twenty year olds seem to want it and thrive on it but lets just hope this seasons bunch can keep on top of their mental health, drugs and alcohol in the hope that we wont see anymore suicides from the show. However, at least we saw Tommy’s adorable proposal for Molly-Mae to be his girlfriend which restored my confidence in the show and in young love.
