Doctor Strange is just that…a very strange film. But it’s also pretty spectacular.
With special effects to rival that of Inception and The Matrix, it is a CGI masterpiece that needs to be seen on the big screen.

A Marvel movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the leading role, the film follows world-famous neurosurgeon Dr Stephen Strange, whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident leaves him with severe nerve damage to his hands, leaving him unable to continue his work.

When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look elsewhere for healing and hope, but he soon learns that this is not a place for meditation and healing but the front line of a battle against dark forces.

It’s a witty watch with some comical moments between Strange and his former partner Christine Palmer (played by Rachel McAdams) as well as the villain Kaecilius. But the film also comes with a meaningful message, which I won’t spoil for you.

Like all Marvel films, make sure you wait until the end of the credits for a double teaser that you won’t want to miss!
