“I’ve been a florist for a number of years, I’ve always wanted to do it,” she told us when we visited the cabin at Barleylands Craft Village.
The 20-year-old florist will be just one of many studios at the wedding fayre, on Saturday, 28 and Sunday, 29 September. The 60 studios in the Craft Village and handpicked suppliers will be a one stop destination for bespoke products to cover everything a wedding needs – with gorgeous cakes, show stopping dresses, vintage cars, eye-catching balloons, unusual favours and more.
Amber said: “We are really excited to be part of such an great event and it’s such great timing for us.
“Since we opened our doors last month we’ve had great feedback and the wedding fayre will be a perfect opportunity to showcase our expertise in bridal and wedding flowers as well as letting brides to be know all about the latest trends.
“Couples will be able to visit us in our studio and we can discuss their individual requirements.”
When asked about what trends are popular in the flower world, Amber explained: “I think vintage is still a massive trend, I’ve been doing that style for quite a while and it’s something I specialise in.”
Wedding fayre organiser Karen Hawes of Balloon Decor said: “Whilst the high streets are suffering the craft studios here at Barleylands are thriving as we offer something out of the ordinary.
“Everyone wants their wedding to be extra special and our skilled crafters can really help with that touch of individuality.
“Last year’s wedding fayre was a great success and this year is set to be even better.”
Entry to the wedding fayre is free and couples registering on the day will also receive special discounts and a glass of bubbly.
“They’ll be able to explore the Craft Village and discover everything the businesses have to offer, plus there’ll be a great atmosphere with live music and even a magician!” adds Karen.
The Barleylands Wedding Fayre is held in the Barleylands Craft Village and runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, 28 and Sunday 29, September.
