A new housing development has launched in South Ockendon, to help supply the increasing demand for property outside of the capital with many Londoners leaving due to unaffordable house prices.
Recent statistics from Countrywide reveal a record 65,000 tenants have left London over the last 12 months, with 22 per cent leaving to buy a home. This is the highest rate of renters leaving London since 2007.
