WITH Wimbledon just around the corner, say cheers to the world’s oldest tournament with one of these ace tennis-themed
cocktails and smashing treats.

Fred Perry cocktail at GNH Bar
In celebration of Wimbledon, guests at GNH Bar (www.gnhbar.com) at Great Northern Hotel can enjoy a bespoke Fred Perry cocktail. Named after the British tennis legend and served in a spherical glass to represent a tennis ball, the drink features a refreshing mix of gin, cucumber, lemon and basil with sweet vanilla, strawberry and elderflower and is finished with pepper cream.
Available for £9 throughout Wimbledon.

Murray-Tini Cocktails at Kensington Place
Kensington’s popular fish and seafood brasserie (www.kensingtonplace-restaurant.co.uk) is taking inspiration from Andy Murray’s winning streak, with its ace Murray-Tini cocktail. Available until Wimbledon’s final serve on Sunday 16 July, the cocktail blends unfiltered Belvedere vodka and Cointreau with lemon juice, Honeydew melon, Angostura bitters and mint. Priced at £9.75, it’s the most refreshing way to toast the world’s number one male player.

Tennis on the Terrace at Angler
The City’s Michelin-starred seafood restaurant is gearing up for the men’s final with a special screening on its rooftop terrace. Scheduled for Sunday 16 July. Ticketholders will also be guaranteed a deckchair and offered a tub of white-chocolate-and-strawberry-meringue artisan ice cream courtesy of Northern Bloc, a gourmet Scotch egg and a refreshing cocktail. Tickets available from (www.designmynight.com), £28pp doors open at 1.30pm.

Wimbledon Sundae at OXBO Bankside
Available throughout Wimbledon, OXBO Bankside (www.oxbobankside.co.uk) will be serving up a bespoke Wimbledon Sundae (£8). Inspired by the historic tournament, the sundae will be made with fresh strawberries, chantilly cream and strawberry coulis topped with tennis ball macaroons, white chocolate shards and popping candy. OXBO Bankside delivers a contrast of authentic ingredients with exotic tastes that give old English favourites an innovative twist.

Wimbledon at Tom’s Kitchen Canary Wharf
