RESIDENTS in Havering will get the chance to learn about their consumer rights thanks to an event organised by Front Lane Community Association.
It takes place on Friday (16 July) at at Cranham Social Hall starting at 10.30am when a representative of Trading Standards will discuss consumer rights, including how to deal with “cold callers”, or return goods to a shop.
Tea, coffee and home-made cakes will be available, and all are welcome.

Cranham Social Hall is at 103 Front Lane, RM14 1XN. From Cranham Village (248 or 346 bus) walk past Tesco Express and The Plough pub, cross Ingrebourne Gardens, and the entrance is at the far end of the parade of shops. There’s a small car park behind the Hall.
