“If you’re a bit of a fashionista, then think granny! For the ultimate granny shoes, look for those that come high up the foot, or even shoe boots. Generally anything that is low heeled is fashionable - Topshop has a great range of on-trend flat shoes. The must have shoes at the moment are army boots, originally brought out by All Saints. These boots are fantastic to wear with a short dress or jeans.
“If you’re more of a glamour girl, and high heels are your staple, look out for buckled sandals with lots of straps and a coned heel for a smart or casual look. Colours are really varied this season, from pale blue and dusty pink to black for evening wear. Schuh has some fabulous examples, as does New Look, Pied a Terre and Kurt Geiger at Debenhams.
“Finally, my personal favourite – open-toed shoes. Chic, elegant and classic, open-toed shoes really do make a difference to any outfit you wear.
