SUMMER holidays are just around the corner and that means exposing some flesh. But there’s nothing worse than discovering you’ve forgotten to shave your legs, or wax your back before you take a dip in the pool. Which is why Features Editor, Nicola Moyne sent a male reviewer along to Cranwell House to test out the Soprano XL Laser Hair Removal treatment.
What are the claims?
The Soprano XL Laser Painless Hair Removal procedure is said to be just that: painless.
It works by safely and gently damaging the hair follicle to prevent re-growth and is proven to treat all skin types and, indeed, hair types including blonde and grey hair which is usually more difficult to target.
Did it live up to its reputation?
“Definitely,” says our reviewer Richard. “I had the treatment on the top of my arms and back because I have patchy areas of hair that annoy me. And after just one session I noticed a definite reduction in hair. You’re advised to undergo a course of six treatments and then the hair will be completely removed, so to see such a big difference after just one course was very encouraging.”
Any problems?
“None at all. It is completely painless and all I felt was a warm glow. Charlotte, my therapist, was really helpful and talked me through the whole process and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to target specific areas.”
It’s also worth noting however, that the treatment is not suitable for recently chemically treated or naturally tanned skin. Prices from £60. Visit cranwellhouse.co.uk.
