LAKESIDE Hammers’ Lee Richardson has not sufficiently recovered from his recent illness to enable him to ride against Belle Vue at Arena Essex tonight (Friday).
Eastbourne rider and former Hammer Joonas Kylmakorpi comes in as a guest at No.1.
Belle Vue have also been forced into a change. Josh Grajczonek has dropped out after having picked up an injury on Monday at the Aces’ home win over Coventry. He is replaced by Kyle Legault, a Canadian, who rides for Newport in the Premier League and he will now partner Ulrich Ostergaard at reserve.
Patrick Hougaard will also be missing as he is due to ride in the World U-21 Final this weekend in Poland. The Aces will utilise the 'Rider Replacement' facility to cover his rides and as he is third in the Aces averages any of their riders, with the exception of their Danish Grand Prix star Hans Andersen, will be able to take an additional ride.
The parade of riders, including a lap by the legendry Barry Briggs, will take place at 7.45pm with the first heat scheduled for 8pm. The meeting is being sponsored by local Yamaha dealer, Grays Motorcycle Centre.
