PETROL tankers are once more rolling from the Petroplus Coryton oil refinery just two days after its parent business went into administration.
Administrators were appointed immediately after Petroplus filed for bankruptcy on Tuesday. Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC) immediately stopped any supplies leaving the site but today announced the refinery’s business would be resumed, easing fears over regional fuel shortages.
Administrator Steven Pearson said: “I am pleased that we are able to resume fuel supplies in the region.”
