MATT Clark and Natalie Osmond-Davis took over The Railway Hotel in Billericay at the beginning of February.
They have started to serve a lunchtime food menu from Monday to Saturday from 12pm till 3pm as well as freshly ground coffee.
The new opening hours are Sunday to Thursday from 12pm till 11pm and Friday and Saturday from 12pm-12am.
The decor in the pub has been revamped and there is now a stage area in place at the back, which will be used during the week as a snug area with leather sofas and tables and live entertainment at the weekends.
There is also a secluded beer garden, which includes traditional pub games and a jukebox.
Natalie, said: “We are aiming to keep it as a traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere for anyone over the age of twenty one to enjoy.
“We are also hoping to do more entertainment in the week such as quiz nights, darts nights, pool nights and karaoke.
“In the future we are also hoping to add B&B rooms once we are more established.”
