POLICE are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man in his 20s who is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting in Stock on July 7, 2007.
A man in his 50s was shot in the torso and arm in Stock Road.
Daniel Smith, 24, is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder. His last known address was in Coxes Farm Road in Billericay. However, police believe he may have fled the country and be in Iberia or northern Cyprus.
He is described as white, 6ft 5ins tall, of proportionate build with dark brown hair, green eyes, and an English accent.
Officers believe Smith (pictured) may still be in contact with friends and family in the Billericay area. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately on 0300 333 4444 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
