Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a school girl in Leigh.
The incident is just one of a growing trend of incidents of harassment relating to young girls travelling to and from school in the area.
At around 5pm on Friday 9 July along Belton Way in Leigh-on-sea a man exposed himself to a 14-year-old schoolgirl.
The man is described as white, suntanned and aged in his late 40s, early 50s.
He is 5' 10" to 6' tall with medium length, messy grey hair, medium build and had a tattoo on his upper right arm.
If anyone has seen a man answering this description acting suspiciously in the area please contact police at Leigh.
Police would also like to hear from any commuters about a previous alleged incident in Belton Way where a 13-year-old girl alleges that on Friday, 11 June at about 7.25 am she was dragged along Belton Road by a man who let her go when she punched and kicked him.
We do know that at this time the area was very busy with commuters and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any such incident.
