THE showbiz stars of tomorrow will be learning the tricks of the trade at the new Paul Nicholas School of Acting, which opened its doors in Southend recently.
Paul Nicholas, who is best known for his role as Vine Pinner in the long-running BBC sit-com Just Good Friends, has set up a number of schools across the UK as part of his mission to pass on his experience to future generations
“It’s recognised that there are thousands and thousands of talented youngsters who simply don’t get the chance to shine because they live outside of London,” Paul tells In2. “Well, with the Paul Nicholas School of Acting that opportunity is now theirs for the taking.”
The Paul Nicholas School of Acting in Southend will now give youngsters between the ages of four and 18 the chance to learn the skills they need to act on stage and screen.
“I believe that acting is a brilliant way to give youngsters the confidence and other skills needed to get by in life,” Paul adds. “All my schools are priced so that they are accessible to everyone – not just the rich and famous.”
