DETECTIVES have released the name and picture of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a domestic-related stabbing on Canvey Island.
Police were contacted by the ambulance service shortly after 3:30am on Sunday, November 22 following reports that a man had been stabbed several times in the body on Long Road.

The 22-year-old man from the island was conveyed to Basildon University Hospital.
Detectives are looking to trace the whereabouts of Michael King (pictured). The 20-year-old man of no fixed address is described as white, approximately 5’6” and has short, cropped hair.
Investigating Officer, Ds Phil Butt, said: “We have spoke to Michael’s solicitors who did intimate that he would turn up at the police station, but he has so far failed to do so. We believe he is still on the island so would appeal to his friends, family and residents to contact us so that we can sort out matters in a sensible fashion.”
The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital after undergoing extensive surgery.
