Its reigning monarchs

Bank of England

n Children enjoy a day out at the Museum.

DURING the half term week (1-4 June) it’s all about monarchs at the Bank of England Museum in London.

Younger children can look around the Museum for examples of crowns worn by Kings and Queens through the ages, and then indulge their imagination by creating their own crown to take home.

Children of all ages can enter thr Museum’s competition quiz about monarchs and the Bank, searching for the right answers in the Museum’s displays. There are prizes to be won!

A family fun day out is guaranteed with all the other Museum attractions including activity sheets for children of all ages, banknote jigsaws, a roller ball game, interactive displays and the opportunity for some safe cracking!

You can also take control of a virtual hot air balloon and charter it on a stable course to simulate the role of the Bank in keeping inflation stable. Visitors can even try to lift a genuine gold bar with a current value of over £300,000 – although, weighing 13kg, it will take many people by surprise!

Admission and all events are free, and there’s no booking required.
