BILLERICAY girl Holly Chambers put on her fairy wings to help celebrity with Ulrika Jonsson launch a new fundraising promotion.
“Washing Up for Wishes” is a new fundraising drive between Fairy and Make-A-Wish, a partnership now in its sixth year, to help make more magical wishes come true for children fighting life-threatening illnesses.
The charity grants on average 12 Wishes a week and draws support from a wide network of dedicated volunteers to grant its magical wishes.
Holly is just one of many children who have had magical wishes come true thanks to Make-A-Wish.
Three year-old Holly has Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis and wished for a 'Peppa Pig' bedroom makeover. Holly and her family were transported by limousine and taken to a pottery and crafts workshop while volunteers set to work transforming her bedroom.
Speaking at the launch, Ulrika commented: “It’s a real privilege to be involved with Fairy and Make-A-Wish’s first Washing Up for Wishes campaign to make even more magical wishes come true for kids like Holly.”
Getting involved in “Washing Up for Wishes” is easy.
