The Louder Lounge at V Festival was the place to be this year, offering five star festival luxury to ensure that hair styling, makeovers, spray tanning, nail-art, exclusive cocktails and gourmet catering made the perfect icing on top of the cake for VIP festival goers.
Hollywood stars Drew Barrymore and Justin Long (pictured left), who are currently starring together in Going The Distance turned up at The Louder Lounge to enjoy the festival fun! And Drew Barrymore was the definition of festival chic, wearing a gorgeous cropped back tan fringe top, textured khaki green trousers and brown riding boots, as she introduced an exclusive acoustic set from ‘The Boxer Rebellion’.
Other celebrity appearances included X Factor star Olly Murs, Dermot O’Leary, Holly Willoughby, Sarah Harding, Coleen Rooney, Rupert Grint, Dizzee Rascal and Billy Piper, who all took advantage of the Louder Lounge’s VIP treatment.
VIPs also got the chance to get their barnets sorted at the Redken area, where award winning celebrity hairdresser and local Billericay boy Jim Shaw led his team of experts once again.
“The Louder Lounge really is the posh side of V Festival,” laughs Jim, who is a finalist for Men’s Hairdresser of the Year 2010. “We’ve been so busy, but it’s great fun.”
A-listers could also get their make-up applied by the MAC team, top up their tans at the St Tropez area, get the perfect nails with CND and Minx as well as enjoying fabulous cocktails from Green Carnation and meals from local Essex caterers Moving Feast.
