When it comes to London, there really isn’t any other city like it. So, whether you’re interested in the culture, theatre, shopping or sight seeing, why not make the most of your time in the Capital by staying over night and taking advantage of the Doyle Collection’s Leisurely London Package, which is available at three of their top London Hotel’s.

I recently took a trip to the Capital with my friend, and we were both blown away by the quality and class of the Bloomsbury Hotel.

Situated along Great Russell Street, which is just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road’s tube station, a stone’s throw from the Dominion Theatre, and right next to the British Museum, it’s fair to say that the hotel’s location is a great appeal for anyone trying to get the most out of their time in London.

Originally a Neo-Georgian building, the property has been transformed into a gorgeous hotel, boasting 153 bedrooms and suites, a bar and restaurant, fitness centre, seven meeting rooms, a concierge, 24-hour room service, making The Bloomsbury a truly luxurious hotel for those looking for a stay with that added touch of class.

My friend and I chose to stay in one of the Hotel’s 26 Deluxe Rooms and we weren’t disappointed! Quickly realising that ‘deluxe’ was an understatement, our spacious room was decorated in dark Georgian tones, which complimented the building’s classic feel perfectly.

And in this summer heat, the room’s Air Conditioning facilities were the answers to all of our prayers and we spent a good 20 minutes chilling out before venturing out into the streets of London.

Of course, as two women in the heart of of the Capital, we couldn’t resist a trip along Oxford Street to scope out the shops - and enjoy some good old retail therapy!

When we finally returned to the hotel, weighed down by our heavy bags, we decided to unwind and enjoy a drink at Landseer’s Bar, located on the Lower Ground Floor to the hotel.

And ladies, the cocktail menu is incredible, with the option of choosing whether to have a classic cocktail or opt for Landseer’s signature twists. Decorated in rich wood panelling with modern chairs and sociable seating, this is a great spot for a pre-evening drink!

But, in my opinion, the best thing about this package - apart from the Hotel’s prime location - is the late checkout the next day.

My friend and I were able to venture out and explore Camden Market before returning to the Hotel for a freshen up before checking out at 3pm -  Great for getting two days worth of exploring for the price of one!
