THE annual Horndon Feast and Fayre 10k run takes place on Sunday, June 28 at 11am. The BAF accredited event is fast but deceptively demanding.
In addition to individual prizes for the top placed runners in each category and the winning team, an attractive Horndon 10k medal will be given to all finishers.
This is a friendly event with plenty of all day attractions for runners, their families and friends. Last year's event attracted more than 400 runners of all abilities ranging from fun runners to top local athletes.
The Rotary Club of Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham have taken over the organisation of the race this year, and all money raised will be going to Rotary Charities. The club is encouraging runners to enter in advance as it eases administration on the day - and costs less!
The cost of entry is £6 for BAF affiliated club members, £8 others and £3 extra on the day
