AFTER a stunning refurbishment The Edge – a new contemporary bar in the heart of Basildon – raised a glass with the likes of Mitch Winehouse and professional snooker player Stuart Bingham to celebrate the spectacular makeover recently.
Now with a stylish and modern décor, The Edge oozes sophistication, making it the perfect place to eat, drink and party!
With a menu offering a variety of pub favourites from Bangers and Mash to Jacket Potatoes, the bar also boasts the best entertainment with regular DJ’s on a Friday and Saturday night as well as live music every Thursday, which will kick off with a Robbie Williams tribute act on 3 June.
“It just looks completely different,” says general manager Lesley Yorke. “There’s such a lovely, modern feel to it and I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the launch party.”
The Edge is located at 6-8 High Pavement, Basildon Town Centre. Food is available from 11am to 7pm.
