WITNESSES are being sought after a collision left a 9-year-old boy with serious fractures to his ankle.
The collision between the boy, who was riding a pedal cycle, and a silver Ford Puma took place just before 7pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 on London Road, Leigh-on-Sea at the junction with Station Road.
The boy was left with a serious fracture to his left ankle and had to be taken to Southend University hospital for treatment.
Police have said the car was being driven by an 18-year-old Benfleet man and are looking for witnesses.
