A 17-YEAR-OLD boy from Billericay has been charged with GBH after a man’s skull was fractured in a disturbance on the town’s High Street over the weekend.
The incident happened on Billericay High Street on Sunday evening at around 7.20pm where a 24-year-old man was taken to Basildon Hospital with a fractured skull.
The police are not treating the incident as a random attack.
The man is currently still under treatment but is said to be in a stable condition.
The boy has been released on bail to appear at Basildon Youth Court on 7 September.
