Felixstowe & Walton 0, Romford 1
ANDY Edmunds scored the decisive goal on 35 minutes when he was put through on the right by Toran Senghore.
The same player went close again in the second half with an angled, lofted shot which rebounded off the crossbar and Senghore for his part wasn’t able to control the rebound sufficiently to get enough power into his follow up shot.
Boro’s reserves also travelled to the coast and also won 1-0 with an 83 minute goal from Kieran Singh when he managed to scramble the ball home while lying on the ground.
This match was particularly notable for a three times taken penalty for Romford due the home keeper encroaching from his line and Romford’s Anton Dwyer failing to score from any of these with the keeper actually saving all three.
