ARE you a beauty junkie? If so, you’ll be pleased to hear that Cosmopolitan Magazine’s annual Beauty Awards is coming up!
Taking place on 29 June at The Roof Gardens in Kensington, a panel of celebrities and beauty experts will get together to announce their beauty buys of the year.
Singers Sophie Ellis-Bexter and Amelle Berrabah (Sugababes) will be joined on the panel by Cosmopolitan’s Editor Louise Court and beauty team, as well as Dr Nick Lowe (dermatologist), Michael Douglas (hair stylist), Marcia Kilgore (founder of Soap & Glory), Lisa Eldridge (makeup artist) and Tracy van Heusden (House of Fraser beauty buyer)
Over 300 products will be tested across 16 categories including Ultimate Hairstyling Gadget, Ultimate Hair Colourant and Ultimate Anti-Ageing Product.
“As a fan of makeup and Cosmo, I’m very happy to be taking part,” Sophie Ellis-Bextor said. “It’ll be hard to narrow down my favourite things though!”
Amelle Berrabah adds: “I love my beauty products so getting to choose my favourite ones is a dream come true. Bring it on!”
All winners will be honoured at a breakfast event on 29 June and will appear in the October issue of Cosmopolitan, which is out on 9 September.
