A fashionable way to raise for charity

FASHIONISTA'S in Chelmsford got a taste of the very best trends this season while helping to raise funds for a great cause at a charity fashion show last week.
Hosted by Heart Essex FM’s breakfast show DJ, Su Harrison in conjunction with the Essex WI, women of all ages, shapes and sizes strutted their stuff down the catwalk, showing off the hottest looks for this summer.
Marking the 14th charity fashion show held at the quadrant Department store in the Chelmsford Star Co-operative, 20 top high street brands were represented on the catwalk modelled by staff, their friends and the WI.
Vanessa Howard, Marketing and PR Manager at the quadrant says: “We have been running a fashion show for a number of years now and what the audience appreciates the most is to see real women of all shapes and sizes on the catwalk.”
The night raised over £1,500, which will be divided between the Society’s Charity of the Year, Little Havens Children’s Hospice and the WI. Visit www.chelmsford star.coop for further details.
