18-year-old who died in crash named

DalePOLICE are renewing their appeal for information following a fatal road crash in Billericay.
The collision happened when the driver of a black Ford Fiesta appears to have lost control of the car while travelling along Western Road shortly before 2am on Saturday, 21 April and struck a wall. The vehicle then overturned.
Dale Carlier (pictured), an 18-year-old man from Coram Green in Hutton and former Brentwood County High and Chelmsford College student, was conveyed to Basildon University Hospital, but sadly died a short time later.
Three other male occupants of the car were also conveyed to the same hospital. A 20-year-old from the Brentwood area sustained head and arm injuries. A 20-year-old from the Romford area sustained arm injuries. A 17-year-old from the Brentwood area sustained pelvic and facial inquiries. All three people remain in stable conditions at the hospital.
At this stage, police have yet to establish who the driver of the car was.
A section of the road was closed for approximately four hours while forensic collision investigators carried out their enquiries.
