TWO fake cops have robbed an 84-year-old woman.
At 6.30pm on Monday, 23 January, two men claiming to be Police officers stole cash from an 84 year old woman at an address in Chadwell Heath.

FOLLOWING the collapse of the international oil refining group Petroplus, administrators have been appointed to run its UK operation, centred around the Coryton refineryin Thurrock which employs around 850 people.
Steven Pearson and Stephen Oldfield partners of PwC were appointed joint administrators of Petroplus Refining and Marketing Limited on today (Tuesday). Read more

WORKERS at the Coryton Oil refinery in Thurrock are in limbo this morning after the company that operates the site, Petroplus, announced it was filing for bankruptcy and closed down all petrol supplies from the plant.
The decision comes after it defaulted on $1.75 billion of loans and sees around 1,000 jobs at the site under real threat. Read more

FEARS for the future of up to 1,000 jobs grew again today (Monday) following the latest dramatic moves in the continuing financial crisis gripping Swiss firm Petroplus, operators of Coryton oil refinery.
Trading in the shares of Petroplus was suspended until the close of trading at the request of the company, the Swiss exchange said - while it is reported the compnay has also been instructed to stop tankers leaving its Thurrock refinery.
